# Bookers

The Bookers section holds customer related information. Within this area, you can view, search for, modify, create, or delete customer data.

# Add Booker

To add a new booker, choose Add from the Action dropdown on the main Bookers screen.

This action will open Add a New Booker screen.

In the New booker screen, you have the option to designate whether the user is a website administrator or a booker and fill in the following fields:

  • Full name - mandatory field; fill in the first name and last name.
  • Company name - optional field; fill in the company name which can be used to identify the booker on the day / through payments in bank account.
  • Email - mandatory field; fill in the telephone number which can be used in case of issues with the order or to help locate booker on the day.
  • Telephone - mandatory field.
  • Address, City, Post Code, Country - mandatory fields. Please provide the booker's complete address information. If paying via WorldPay, ensure that the address matches the one associated with the card.

TIP

By creating an account for the booker, they will gain the ability to log into their account. To access their account, they will have to initiate the forgotten password process on the customer site. Please note that this action will not trigger an email notification to the booker.

# Edit Booker

To update the information of an existing booker, please follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Bookers page.

  • Choose the booker you want to edit.

  • Click the Modify button on the subsequent screen.

  • Fill in all the edited details.

  • Click OK to save the changes.

TIP

This action will not send an email to the booker.

Booker Password Reset

When reviewing an existing booker profile, in the Bookers > Display Booker screen you will also see the Data Processing Consent History field. This field cannot be modified by an administrator, as it displays data consent statements given by the client, such as whether the booker has subscribed to marketing emails. Customer consent information is added through the client side application as seen in the image below.

TIP

You can add new consents through the Set up Menu > Data Processing page.

# Password Reset Email

Lastly, the Admin panel's Booker page offers an option to send a password reset link to the booker by clicking on the 'Send password reset email' button.
